Good luck...

The Grand Theatre runs many competitions throughout the year for individual children or schools.

Our competitions are aimed to encourage children to either work together as a team enhancing their social skills or as individuals embracing their artistic talents. We also offer competitions for teachers and schools as a whole.

Each Month New Members have the chance to a WIN A MATCHAM MONKEY GOODIE BAG Contains a Metal Waterbottle, Cap, Stickers and Mug

To enter just join as a Matcham Monkey Member (you can do it online at www.matchammonkey.co.uk or at the Grand Theatre Box Office) and you will be automatically entered into the FREE draw. Good Luck!

We Congratulate David Riley for winning this years award for his play "Great Escape" which will be performed at the Lawrence House Studio next year as the launch of our 2010 competition


This year we also had two highly commend plays, so our congratulations go out to Emma Hill for "Blood" and Zoe Lamond for " Auntie Jean". 


If you would like to hear some of the  shortlisted plays a few are to be read at our play reading group's meeting on Saturday November the 14th (1.30pm to 3.30pm - tickets £3)


Our 2010 competition will launch around Easter next year - full details of next year's competition will appear here early 2010.
