A brand new UK tour of the sensational Seven Brides For Seven Brothers high kicks into Blackpool’s Grand Theatre on Friday 22nd August direct from the West End and starring Steven Houghton (London’s Burning, Bugs) and Susan McFadden (ITV’s Grease Is The Word winner).

Set in Oregon in 1850, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is the irresistibly upbeat story of mountain lumberjack Adam Pontipee, the eldest of seven brothers, who goes to town to get a wife. He convinces local girl Milly to marry him that very same day. They return to his back-woods home and only then does she discover he has six strapping brothers - all living in his cabin! Milly sets out to reform the uncouth siblings, who are soon anxious to get wives of their own. Then, after reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, Adam develops an inspired solution to his brothers' loneliness... kidnap the women they want!

Sexy Steven Houghton (London’s Burning, Bugs) will send temperatures soaring as Adam Pontipee, the role originally created by Howard Keel in the Oscar winning musical. Rising new star Susan McFadden, winner of ITV’s top talent show Grease Is The Word and fresh from her West End starring role as Sandy in Grease, plays his bewildered new bride Milly Pontipee.

Voted the third most popular musical of all time by BBC Radio 2 listeners, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a barnstorming family musical with unforgettable songs such as Bless Your Beautiful Hide, Goin’ Courtin, When You’re In Love and Sobbin’ Women, dazzling dance routines, colourful costumes, fabulous sets and sassy performances.

A breathtaking production for all the family that’s guaranteed to put a spring in your step and a tune on your lips. See it first at the Grand - It’s a rootin’ tootin’, toe-tappin’ spectacular for all the family!
