37 Plays is a new national playwriting project led by the Royal Shakespeare Company and regional partner theatres. We are seeking the stories of our times: the comedies, the tragedies and the untold histories.

As part of Blackpool Grand Theatre’s invitation to anyone who would like to write a play over the next 12 months, we will be hosting a series of Free ‘Introduction to writing’ workshops. Join director and playwright Hallam Breen, Northern Broadsides, to explore ways of finding inspiration for your play, devising interesting characters and writing engaging dialogue. Please note no experience in playwriting is required.
