Andrew Howard, Grand Theatre Head of Marketing, Audience and Sales, said:“Martin Bostock is a well-respected, award-winning photographer who is renowned for his exceptional talent in capturing the spirit of live performances. Martin also has a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling and has become a trusted name at The Grand for his performing arts photography. This exciting new exhibition provides a rare glimpse into the wonderful world behind the Grand Theatre curtain, celebrating the unsung heroes who make our pantomime truly special, and the exceptional teamwork that is traditional with our cast each and every year. We are sure our panto audiences will enjoy seeing the process behind this year’s incredible production.”

Martin Bostock said:“It was a real privilege to be allowed behind the theatre curtain to capture through my lens all the moments that often go unnoticed by an audience but are fundamental to the success of a live production such as this. Each of the photographs tell a fascinating story of hard work, collaboration, and the sheer joy of bringing a show such as this to the stage. I am thrilled that Blackpool Grand Theatre offered me this opportunity and hope everyone who visits the Grand during panto season will take a moment to enjoy this exhibition.”
