Whether you love a quiet day out with your family or you’re looking for a thrilling day, you’re sure to have fun. Amongst the many attractions you can find in Blackpool, we’ve selected a few from the Visit Blackpool website:
Grand Theatre
We’re celebrating 125 years in 2019 with our own show Around The World In 80s Days (from 31 July to 31 August 2019). You can always expect amazing plays from companies such as the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Do you love thrilling rides and adrenaline-filled rollercoasters? You can also take your little ones to Nickelodeon Land where they can meet some of their favourite characters. Blackpool Pleasure Beach has the most rollercoasters out of any park in the UK, featuring a total of 10 in which four are wooden. The Big One is the tallest rollercoaster in the UK at 213 feet high and with a drop of 205 feet.
Dino Mini Golf
The Blackpool Tower has a fun-filled Dino Mini Golf attraction for the entire family. Whether you’re having a lovely day out or wanting a fun activity for team-building, the 9-hole mini golf adventure takes you back to prehistoric times that are sure to entertain and make you laugh.
Winter Gardens
Open since 1878, the Winter Gardens span 4.9 acres that see more than 1.3 million visitors every year. This historic venue has a collection of ballrooms, theatres, public spaces, and exhibition halls hosting various events. The Winter Gardens include one of the largest theatres in the UK, the Opera House, and one of the largest stages in the world.
Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds in Blackpool features a wide range of famous people, from the UK and abroad. You can see Her Majesty the Queen, Prince William, The Duchess of Cambridge, Sir David Attenborough, Sir Bruce Forsyth, and more.
Blackpool Zoo
Blackpool Zoo is a great family attraction where you can have close encounters with beautiful animals. 32 acres of English parkland with lions, giraffes, elephants, and so much more. The little ones will love seeing the creepy crawlies, alongside the adorably cuddly African pygmy goats.
The Blackpool Tower Dungeon Escape Rooms
Can you escape the noose before your time runs out? The Blackpool Dungeon welcomes you to a terrifying Escape Room adventure in which you’re locked in the murky depths of a spine-chilling castle.
