Top TV favourites Belinda Lang, Honeysuckle Weeks, Jack Ashton and Grace Molony will lead the star-studded cast in Anne-Marie Casey’s exciting new stage adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s timeless tale of Little Women.

Famous TV faces Belinda Lang (2point4 Children, Sister Boniface Mysteries), Honeysuckle Weeks (Foyles War, Calendar Girls the Musical), Jack Ashton (Call the Midwife, The Archers) and Grace Molony (Country Girls, The Great) will top the bill in this thrilling co-production from The Grand Theatre alongside renowned filmmaker and producer Lee Dean and top West End producer Daniel Schumann.

Honeysuckle Weeks

Top theatre actors Cillian Lenaghan (The Woman in the Wall); Jade Kennedy (Rebus: A Game Called Malice); Catherine Chalk (Hilma) and Imogen Elliott (Grantchester) complete the cast in this new production which has been adapted for the stage by Anne Marie Casey.

Little Women

Step into the captivating world of Little Women and meet the magnificent March sisters – tomboy Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and spoilt Amy – as they navigate the challenges of the Civil War era while forging unbreakable bonds of love and family. This beautiful new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic tale is a celebration of women and is filled with laugher, tears and a theatrical, heart-warming lifting of the spirits.

Inspired by author Louisa May Alcott’s own journey into womanhood, Little Women is as relevant today as it was at the time of its first release, proving that women can be bold, persistent, self-assured, and the heroes of their own story.

Little Women will be co-produced by The Grand alongside renowned filmmaker and producer Lee Dean and producer Daniel Schumann. Lee has presented more than 100 theatre productions worldwide, winning 38 major awards. Highlights include the Golden Globe, BAFTA and Oscar winning feature film Judy starring Renee Zellweger based on the stage play End Of The Rainbow which he also produced in the West End, on Broadway and in Los Angeles. Daniel’s recent highlights include Rebus: A Game Called Malice by Ian Rankin, Hamlet/Oresteia directed by Rob Icke and Quiz by James Graham.

Anne Marie Casey’s stunning adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women starring Belinda Lang (2point4 Children, Sister Boniface Mysteries); Honeysuckle Weeks (Foyles War, Calendar Girls the Musical); Jack Ashton (Call the Midwife, The Archers) and Grace Molony (Country Girls, The Great), with Cillian Lenaghan (The Woman in the Wall); Jade Kennedy (Rebus: A Game Called Malice); Catherine Chalk (Hilma) and Imogen Elliott (Grantchester) is at Blackpool Grand Theatre from Tuesday 25 March to Saturday 29 March with matinee and evening performances.
