Animal Farm
One of the most classic books of the 21st Century, this allegoric tale is Orwell’s reflection on the events leading up to the Russian Revolution and following the Stalinist Era of the Soviet Union. Depicted through the tumultuous goings-on at a farm, a pair of pigs called Napoleon and Snowball lead the farm to freedom. Re-imagined for the stage by the director responsible for the stage version of 1984, which was a hit on Broadway and at the West End. The new production of the famous tale features puppetry by the creators of War Horse, with production design by Olivier award-winning Bunny Christie.
