Award-winning Edinburgh Fringe Festival sell-out 2Faced Dance Company returns to Blackpool’s Grand Theatre with their darkly explosive, brand new break dance-infused work, Out Of His Skin, on Tuesday 22 October.
The piece explores society’s obsession with the extreme in a powerful 55 min show that is a pure adrenaline rush. A six strong cast of dynamic male dancers will take you on a journey that delivers a pounding array of solo, duet and group work, interspersed with jaw dropping, explosive snippets of break dance. Out of His Skin is a fresh and exciting display of energy and skill. The award-winning choreographer Tamsin Fitzgerald delivers a powerful come back with this new production. Out of His Skin fuses 2Faced’s urban contemporary athleticism with that of stunt man Tom Cheshire, who has worked alongside the dancers in order to create an awe-inspiring addition to the work. The music composed by Anthony Murphy, is a hard-hitting score which cleverly merges classical and electro music.
As 2Faced Dance Company enter a new era as a new National Portfolio Organisation for the Arts Council of England and having just returned from a hugely successful world tour to Brazil, Norway, Bulgaria and Slovenia, the company are primed to explode back onto the Grand Theatre’s stage after their amazing performance of In The Dust last year.
