To celebrate winning the Hogan cup, we treated our sponsored Football team, Fleetwood Town Juniors Rangers Under 18s to an evening at Thriller LIVE.

Earlier this year, Blackpool’s Grand, teamed up with Fleetwood Town Juniors Rangers Under 18’s as sponsors.

The team back in May, took home the title of Hogan Cup Winners 2017 and to celebrate were treated to a night watching Thriller LIVE.

The show, direct from London’s West End where it is now in its record breaking 9th year and is a spectacular concert created to celebrate the career of the world’s greatest entertainer – Michael Jackson.

Before the show, the team were invited to join the cast on stage for a photograph opportunity and a meet and greet before taking their seats to see all the famous songs such as I Want You Back, ABC, Can You Feel It, Off The Wall, The Way You Make Me Feel, Smooth Criminal, Beat It, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Bad, Rock with You, They Don’t Care About Us, Dangerous and Thriller plus many more!

Manager of Fleetwood Town Rangers Under 18s, Steve Simms  said ‘It was a fantastic evening and I think across the bar, everyone had a great time. The hospitality shown to us by The Grand outweighed all our expectations from being shown on stage, meeting the cast and finally to an amazing show. It went down really well with both players and parents.’ Leading the team, Team Captain Jacob Cheeseman added ‘It was incredible, from the lighting, stage setting and the performance – such a good way to celebrate our win.’
