Love meeting new people? Enthusiastic, outgoing and passionate about theatre? Become a Grand Theatre Ambassador!

This year Blackpool Grand Theatre are recruiting young people (aged 18-26), who love theatre, love meeting new people and have great personal skills to become Theatre Ambassadors. The Grand would like to give young people access to performances and professionals in the theatre industry, developing the knowledge and skills crucial for a career in theatre.

The Grand will work closely with the Ambassadors across the year on great opportunities like meeting and interviewing UK and international practioners and performers, planning and organizing events and activities, gaining marketing skills e.g. social media/blog writing, travel around the country with The Grand’s marketing team to see shows and meet companies ahead of them visiting The Grand and take part in activities that could be used as part of an Arts Award.

In return we will ask the Ambassadors to share their opinions on theatre as well as lead on promoting the scheme within their community.

We are looking for young people who represent a variety of theatre backgrounds. Whether you’re interested in classical, drama, comedy, or dance, we want to hear from you!
