The winner will win an amazing handmade gingerbread house courtesy of Kellycakes of Blackpool and a pair of tickets to the magical opera Hansel and Gretel at the Grand Theatre on 1 February!

Once upon a time…one of the world’s best loved fairy tales comes to stunning life, in the magical opera Hansel and Gretel. To celebrate this enchanting fairytale being brought to life at the Grand, we are holding our very own gingerbread baking competition!

The Gingerbread house will be on display in Kellycakes on Whitegate Drive, Blackpool from Monday 7 January. The runner up will also win a pair of tickets to this brilliant production. Hansel and Gretel is a brilliantly fresh production, which captures the enchantment and delight of this dearly loved classic opera, written by the Nineteenth Century composer Engelbert Humperdinck.
