Cinderella’s glass slipper is still on the move and can now be found in a shoe shop in Lytham until Sunday 16 December! Can you spot the slipper? This is your last chance!
Find the glass slipper in a shoe shop and collect a discount voucher for this year’s Grand Theatre pantomime Cinderella. Everyone who books tickets with the voucher will go into a draw to win an amazing glass slipper made by master glassblower John Ditchfield.
The glass slipper has been made by John Ditchfield, nationally renowned local glass blower based in Lancashire. His company Glasform was established over 25 years ago and specialises in producing bespoke antiques of the future as well as architectural glass work. Glasform specialises in the manufacturing of Handmade Art Glass, which entails the moulding and shaping of molten glass. The raw glass is comprised of sand, soda and various other chemicals that are melted at 1500c to form a bath of molten glass.
What’s more, the lucky winner will be presented with the stunning glass slipper by members of the Cinderella cast…what a Christmas treat!
There are plenty of reasons to come to this year’s Cinderella pantomime at The Grand- one being Prince Charming himself, played by Emmerdale heartthrob Danny Miller in his first ever panto! Starring along side him will be BBC Radio Lancashire’s Steve Royle as Buttons, Channel 5 Milkshake presenter Amy Thompson as Cinderella and Radio Wave’s Hayley Kay as the Fairy Godmother!
