Nationally renowned local glass blower John Ditchfield has been very busy making stunningly beautiful glass slippers for Cinderella for this year’s Grand Theatre Pantomime, which is on at The Grand from Friday 7 December 2012 to Sunday 6 January 2013 starring Emmerdale’s Danny Miller!
The only problem is Cinderella has gone and lost one of her glass slippers! We hear the slipper has been mysteriously travelling around various boutique shoe shops in Cleveleys, Blackpool, Poulton, St Annes and Lytham.
If you spot the slipper in a shoe shop between Friday 15 November and Thursday 13 December, you can claim a discount voucher (terms and conditions apply) from the shop for the Cinderella pantomime at the Grand Theatre! What’s more, everyone who purchases tickets with a voucher will go into a draw to win a stunning glass slipper made especially by the amazing John Ditchfield!
John Ditchfield is a leading British Glassblower based in Lancashire, England. His company Glasform was established over 25 years ago and specialises in producing bespoke antiques of the future as well as architectural glass work. You could own a hand-made, original John Ditchfield glass slipper! There are plenty of reasons to come to this year’s Cinderella pantomime at The Grand- one being Prince Charming himself, played by Emmerdale heartthrob Danny Miller in his first ever panto! This is his first ever panto, and starring along side him will be Channel 5’s Amy Thomson as Cinderella, Radio Wave’s Hayley Kay as the Fairy Godmother and Grand Theatre favourite and BBC Radio Lancashire’s Steve Royle as Buttons!
Keep an eye on the Grand Theatre blog for the first clue to where you can find the glass slipper from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 November!
